We are Manuel and Marius, two students in multimedia production at the University of Chur. We’re about to get our bachelor degree this summer. That was a good reason for us to start a special project. Something big! We both love adventure, nature and travelling. One day Manuel came up with his uncle Walter, a guy who lived in Cameroon for years. So we both thought: why don’t we do our graduation project in Africa? We could combine our passion for travelling, adventure and nature with a multimedia project and use that as a part of our thesis. That was the moment when the Cameroon story was born.

Manuel loves to be in nature. He espacially loves freeride-skiing with his friends in untouched powder and jumping over a self shaped kicker. He lives in a shared flat in Chur and at weekends in Einsiedeln together with his family. You’ll find more of his previous activities on his website www.manuelwenk.ch

Marius’ trademark is a blue wool cap. In winter he is always on the run with his snowboard, in summer with his bike, hiking shoes or his climbing belt, mainly in the mountains! Growing up on the shore of lake constance he always dreamed of foreign countrys and hidden places. If you want to know more about what marius does, go and take a look on www.wasmariusthut.ch

Walter is our Cameroon expert. In the 90s Walter lived for several years in Cameroon and helped to build up a school near Bafut. Since then he owns a house in Cameroon. Once or twice a year he travels there.
